Jailbreaking your iOS device will open it up to a lot of interesting possibilities as you well know; most important thing is it gives you the ability to customize. Among other things the ability to download applications that are not on the Apple app store also is a huge reason people choose to jailbreak.

All the possibilities made available for the iPhone after a jailbreak brings the possibility to overwhelm the system. Apple provides an intuitive platform that works efficiently to serve the users' needs. When the system does get overwhelmed or overloaded, you will notice that the functions are no longer running as seamlessly or as fast as they used to. This is where the need to optimize comes in.

In summary, here is what we have listed on how to optimize jailbroken iPhone:

1. Free up space (RAM) on the jailbroken iPhone.
As with your computer, when the RAM is almost full, the system slows down. The same applies to your iPhone. So to speed up the functions all you need to do is to free up some space. You can do this using applications like iCleaner Pro or DylibDisabler. I recommend the iCleaner Pro as it is simple to use, it can be used with older IOS versions and it is multipurpose.

2. Manage/Reduce the applications running in the background.
With your iPhone you can run numerous applications simultaneously, this is called multitasking. You will find that the more applications you have running in the background, the slower your device will run. iCleaner pro also helps with this. When you open the iCleaner pro app, it lists the applications you have running and you can quickly switch them off using the sliders adjacent to the application.

3. Manage the number of background processes running.
To manage the processes that still keep running even after you have closed an app, you can install the free SBSetting application from the Cydia app store that will allow you close the apps then after, stop the processes left running. Simply select the Free up memory option on the app and it's done.

4.Get rid of the safe launch daemons.
Launch daemons are background processes that load each time you turn your iPhone on. These are not necessarily attached to any application you installed on the device after the jailbreak, but they are independent background processes that occupy your phone memory. With launch daemons, deleting the wrong ones can adversely affect your iPhone. So the key is to create a back up for these files perhaps on your PC then do a bit of research and delete only the safe ones.

These methods above can optimize your iPhone in some degree, but they are too complex. So we recommend a professional third-party desktop app here - Vibosoft iPhone Data Cleaner(Mac) to clear the data on your jailbroken iPhone so that the iPhone can be optimized. Now you can download a free trial version and then follow the steps below.
